Samsung Introduces The New Galaxy Tab S

It has been a long time that Samsung has made a big deal about its Galaxy tablets but in early hours of July 13th  in New York at Madison Square Garden Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S.
It’s a new line of Android tablets with 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch screens. With these slates Samsung is putting the emphasis all on their Super AMOLED screens which it claims offer brighter and accurate colors than typical LCD screens. Samsung delivered one of the most color accurate mobile screens so far with the Galaxy S5 and it seems like the company brought the same emphasis to the new tablets.
The Tab S slates also look a lot like the Galaxy S5 with a similar plastic frame and faux-leather rear cover. The company didn’t say much about the internal specs of the tablet.
Samsung is positioning Galaxy Tab S as its flagship tablet line. The tab is just 6.6mm thick and is the thinnest slates Samsung has ever created.
Galaxy Tab S also have several screen features that makes it different from its competitors. It has a sensor that automatically adjusts white balance, which could be useful when reading e-books a cinema mode optimizes the screen for fast movement and an Adobe color accuracy mode which could be ideal for photographers and artists.
If u have a Samsung Galaxy phone you can also receive calls directly on the Tab S using a new feature called SideSync. It also allows you to drag documents from Tab S onto your Galaxy phone vice-versa.

The Tab S also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into its home button like the Galaxy S5.For securing the tablet you can also setup the sensor for up to eight family members to automatically log into their respective profiles.
Both Galaxy Tab S will be soon available in the market starting at $399 for 8.4-inch model with 16GB of storage and $499 for the 10.5-inch version.

Intel announces updated processors with new chipset and new GPU engine details for desktop

Intel has made a number of announcements at GDC.Many announcements were aimed at the market. This year Intel is launching several products that could give the enthusiast a reason to upgrade their system.
The new “Intel Core i7 Processor Extreme Edition” will have eight cores and sixteen threads adding DDR4 memory and will deploy on a new X99 chipset. This shift of chipset should put the new processor back on the cutting edge of technology. There is no word on which DDR4 clock speeds will be supported. It will be available by 2H 2014.
The “Unlocked 5th Gen Intel Core Processor” “Codename-Broadwell” will soon come to desktops and when it does it’ll have “Iris Pro Graphics” attached. Intel claimed that Broadwell would be a major overhaul of the graphics stack. Since the Iris Pro includes a 128MB L4 cache that means Intel is bringing a significant GPU engine over to the desktop.
The new “Unlocked 4th Gen Intel Core Processor” “Codename: Devil’s Canyon” will be out by mid-year 2014, with a new thermal interface material. It will be supported by the new “Intel 9 Series chipset”. It will also have updated packaging materials.
Intel is launching the “Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition”. It is an unlocked version. Intel has added “Quick Sync” to the new processor. It is supported by both Intel 8 and 9 Series Chipsets. It will be available by mid-year 2014.

Motorola Introduces Its First Smartwatch Based on Google’s Wear Android

Motorola is an early partner for Google’s new Android Wear Smartwatch SDK it is not surprising as the company was owned by Google until January when it was sold to Lenovo. The company recently announced its first smartwatch the Moto 360.The Moto 360 is available in two options for wear devices one is round and other is square and features the “Ok Google” voice control highlighted by Google for its new spin-off mobile OS.
The hardware features “subtle alerts and notifications,” and Motorola is selling it as a premium fashion-first advice that uses high-end in its construction. It’s coming in varies styles as well, and should launch this summer beginning in the U.S. first.Already with just two products officially launched we have to look at a couple of different approaches to how Android Wear OEM partners might differentiate themselves. LG’s G Watch is just a notification window but the Moto 360 is designed more with the fashion-savvy crowd in mind.

Concept of Next iPhone Which Easily Could Be

In the space between one iPhone launch and next a numbers of things happen: rumors abound, analyst throw predictions on sales, specs trickle out slowly, and most entertainingly designers build concepts for us to drool over.
This is one concept design from Sam Beckett which is quite realistic. Meet the promising, yet entirely imagined, “iPhone Air”.
There are rumors that Apple will be adding some real estate to the display of the next generation iPhone, and Beckett’s design shows a display that’s 17 percent larger with 68 percent more pixels. His concept has a 4.7-inch 1080p display, with 468 pixels per inch.
The “iPhone Air” also measures 7mm thick, which is slightly less girthy than the iPhone 5s.Beckett also suggests tossing out the Corning Gorilla Glass for a sapphire crystal display. Sapphire crystal is the same used in current iPhone cameras, which is responsible for the blue/purple glare you get in some photos.
The design has a 10-megapixel shooter and a faster A8 chip.
Interesting thing about “iPhone Air” is that it doesn’t go too far out in terms of design it looks similar to the iPhone 5s with the same Touch ID sensor and a similar look and feel in terms of shape.
Most concept designers do something crazier like curving the entire back of the phone or pulling from iPad designs. But not Beckett his design seems possible.
